Team Tasha and Harry

Tasha knows a lot of dogs and their pictures will eventually end up on this page as we get them.

Send them in, under 10MB and in Jpeg format.  (I have started do the framing for this section so I will just have to add the pictures as they are uploaded.)

Rudder, Spirit and Bark the Dog

The very first people we met at an early event were Paul and Brenda from Canada and their two dogs Rudder and Bark. Paul sent me this great picture he took when the three of them spent some time at the beach along the NC coast.

Here is a shot Paul sent me of Rudder,  note sure of where this is but being a dockdog event it was very well attended.

Finally here is a shot I took of Brenda and Spirit at Smith Mtn Lake in Moneta VA in June of 2007

Bailey

Another person we know but have never met in person is Jillian from Indiana. She sent me a couple of pictures of Bailey. We hope to meet her in person. There is a link to her site at the bottom of Tasha's page.

I love this dogs smile.

Do you think Bailey likes his Wubba or what?

Team Blabador

Alisa and Scott have been great people to know. They bring 8 dogs to most events and have been seen up and down the east coast in the past year. Alisa is a very kind person and veterinarian, she has been a big help to a lot of people. (She will be providing me some shots in the coming weeks so I can post one of each of her dogs).

Shadow

Frank also known as the jets man has been to a number of events. He has his dog Shadow who wears a Jets jersey and Frank added a helmet last August.  Frank has gone to a number of events and brings his non-jumping lab Bailey for moral support along with his wife.

Frank got the crowd going when he donned the Jets helmet for the first time and came on the dock, this was at the Frederick Sports Expo. Picture by Dockdog Affiliate Photographer Jim Linde.

Tanner and Brody

Tracey is in my Dockdog club, Chesapeake Dockdogs, and she has Tanner and Brody. Tracy has been to a few events and is a big supporter of all the dogs.

Tracey and Tanner on the dock at Suffolk VA  (Sept 2007).

Tracey sent me this picture of Brody, this was at the Waterfowl Festival last November.

Sandy

Terry  and Robert are in our club. Terry let Robert (7 at the time) jump his lab Sandy and soon found out that Robert got good jumps with Sandy. Robert has his master title with Sandy.

Robert works his magic at the Outdoor Channel Qualifier in 2007 at Frederick, MD.

Terry takes his turn with Sandy at the same event.

Robert jumps Terry's other dog in the same wave that Terry jumps Sandy. This was in VA beach in April of 2008. Robert is one of the most exciting Youth handlers in Dockdogs.

Abby Wingus, Teddy and Wally

Jean was early on one of the first people I met at tasha's first event in CT. I had missed the jump but was surprised when Teddy climbed the ramp and I saw he only had 3 legs. She jumps his brother wally as well as Abby Wingus. Jean has been in the sport longer than a lot of people realize and started her own club Delmarva Dockdogs last year.

Argus

Argus is a veteran dog handled by Sue out of PA, they are also members of the Chesapeake club. He has a younger brother Coleman who should be jumping soon.

Argus jumps at the Outdoor Channel Event in Frederick in Aug of 2007.

Jumpin Jack Flash

Carrie handles Jack and Jack is a high flying lab who is now also doing EV.

Jack made this grab in EV at Virginia Beach 04/26/08.

Chewy and Walker

We met Don B in Ct in 2005 when he jumped Chewy and he also now jumps Walker. Don comes out of NJ and makes events up and down the east coast.

Chewy and his dft.

Walker jumps! Walker is particular about when he goes in so Donnie celebrates the jumps as they come. Frederick Outdoor Channel Qualifier Aug 2007.

I have seen Walker go from a dog who would not go in at all to a dog who refrains when the water is cold. Both Walker and Chewy are a great alarm system for Donnie whe he is on the road.

Reese

We met Aaron, a Jr Handler, and his mom at Wheeling in August at their first event. Aaron caught on quick because he qualified for the Junior Final at Nelsonville in September. They are members of the Buckeye Dockdog club like I am. We saw them in Columbus in March and again in VA beach in April. Reese recently got her CGC and is working on becoming a therapy dog so she can visit hospitals nearby.

Aaron wows the crowd with his good throw and Reeses good jump.

Reese jumps and misses, they are new to EV but you can see by the concentration she has it will not be long before she is making it to the Top Gun Level. This was their first outdoor attempt at EV.
